Five Star Music Unveils New Artiste and First Rapper Signed To Record Label

Popular record label, Five Star Music took to social media today to unveil their latest artiste and the first rapper to be signed to their group.

Limpopo crooner, Kcee shared photos of the 22-year-old artiste who goes by Xbusta on his Instagram page and shared how he had met the young man whose real name is Okafor Golden Chinedu in Owerri in 2012.According to Kcee, he had lost the aspiring musician’s contact until this year, after they crossed paths again and he was invited to perform at the Five Star Music festival in Lagos. Five star Music label boss and Kcee’s brother, E-Money was said to have fallen in love with Xbusta and decided to sign him to the label.

X busta will be the first rapper signed to Five Star music which is already home to superstars like Kcee, Harrysong and Skiibii.

The new signee, Okafor Golden Chinedu otherwise called Xbusta is a rapper, singer, song writer and all round entertainer who was born in Lagos on February 27, 1994. We gather that Kcee first crossed part with Xbusta in Owerri back in 2012 but they lost contact till they met again this year and he was invited to perform at the Five Star Music festival in Lagos where the label boss, E-Money fell in love with his craft and talks began on how to sign him. The 22-year old rapper began his music career professionally in Obalende, Lagos at a tender age as a studio rat where he mingled with the likes of Vector and General Pype. He then relocated to Owerri when he got admission into Imo state university where he studied Estate management.
